WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
We were given the tool of breath since birth, but most people are unaware of how powerful and transformational the breath can be. For many of us, the norm is being constantly stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed. Breathwork allows us to be still, be with ourselves, and breathe and feel through our experiences. When we feel deeply connected to our bodies and understand and experience the intelligence contained within, we can experience healing, growth and even transformation.
During a breathwork session we will be using continual breath to break through stuck emotions & energy held within the body. The continual breath patterns allows us to get out of the thinking mind and access a deeper connection to body and self. I will be guiding you through the breath technique, so there is no need to memorize anything or feeling like you need to mentally prepare. All you need is an open and curious mind!
You will get out of the session whatever your body needs from it. You can experience healing (physical, emotional, energetic), deeper connection to self, and/or an expanded capacity for growth. Breath is an access point to all of it! For me, teaching breathwork is both scientific + spiritual. I love to combine a lot of different techniques into the sessions and each will be unique to the individual. Here are some tools I use to integrate into the breathwork session:

STRUCTURE OF A SESSION
· The beginning we will discuss any intentions and go over a little orientation about the body and the breath.
· Then you will be guided through meditation to tap into awareness and drop into the body.
· Then you will explore active breathing.
· Guided meditation to slowly bring you back.
· The end of the session is left for you to be held, heard, or whatever else you need or desire.
